Why would you do something like that !

On a Friday night of the midnight showing of Batman a gunman killed 2 innocent people and over a dozen were injured. Holes entered the theater from an exit door. He threw two gas canisters and begin to fire at the people in the movie theater. Many people thought that it was just a prank considering how violent the Batman movie was ; until they realized it wasn't. As he was reloading his gun some people managed to escape. After receiving 911 calls 200 police officers, ambulances, and emergency crews arrived to the theater. Finally Holmes captured in the parking lot by the police. After all the madness was done justice was served.

In high school....

Everyone wanted to be the "popular" kid or the best known all around. Well you are look at yours truly. Not tooting my own horn, but I accomplished alot throughout my high school years. I am very proud that I can say all the things I did over my four years of attending Varina High School in Henrico, Virginia. I wasn't the sports type of person. Although I knew how to play a lot of sports, clubs and organizations was my forte. My freshman year I was in FCCLA which stood for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. We raised a lot of money doing different fund raising activities, visited the State Fair annually, had car washes, and other fun activities. Sophomore year I became the apart of the class council for the class of 2011.My freshman and sophomore year wasn't that exciting. Then came along my junior year things became interesting! I was always known for my soft voice and great personality. Everyone was so amped to get our last two years of high school done. It was bittersweet, but I tried to make my class have as much fun as possible. I joined the yearbook staff and tried to capture as many grat memories as possible, but there was no way. I worked in the school counseling department by helping delivering letters and help some students work out there problem that weren't too confidential. My senior year I was class president, apart of student ambassadors program, BETA, National Honor Society, yearbook staff, DECA, and alot more. Throughout it all I never lost focus of who I was and I remained humble. (:

Last essay !!!

Classes are over and the summer is about to begin for college students ! I can't believe that this is my last year at RBC. I'm not graduating, but I am furthering my education at John Tyler Community College in the fall. Later I will hopefully be transferring to Virginia Commonwealth University where I will major in education with dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher. I love children and it is my passion to do what I've always wanted to do. Classes at RBC weren't that hard, but they mentally prepared me to be a better person. I wish everyone the best of luck in what they do.

Soap & Water

Hygiene is the most important part of keeping your body up to par. I don't understand why people don't wash on a daily. Soap and water is all that is needed to remain clean. Also deodorant, but some people don't even use that. You know it is bad when you can smell yourself. After awhile people get immune to the smell of their body odor. Being a good friend like I am, I told a girl that she didn't smell to well. She kind of took it offensive, but after that day I never smelt her again.

Freedom !

Once I came to college I felt like a found a new found freedom. I never really had any rules when I was in high school, but coming to college made me feel even more independent. Making groceries on my own, putting gas in my car, and making big decisions on my own. I guess it is apart of becoming an adult, and I love it. Not everyone can adjust smoothly to growing up, but it has to happen at some point in your life whether you like or not.

Relationships

I feel that everyone should experience a good relationship at least once in their life. Whether it is a relationship with a boyfriend, best friend, or someone close to you, there's nothing like loving and being loved. First you must love yourself before loving someone else.No you don't ave to be in a committed relationship to experience love, but it statistically proven that you are happier when you have a companion in your life. Not every companion is perfect and neither are you, but you all can balance each others lows and highs.

Go green !

Everyone should recycle to conserve energy. It is simple by throwing paper in the recycling bin  Picking up your trash after yourself is easy to do. There are recycling bin everywhere, so why not help out! I feel the world would be a cleaner place if everyone did there part and clean up (: go green & recycle people !!!

Being gay seems like a new trend nowadays. Some people can honestly not help that they are born the way they are. Some people go through phases of their life when they want to experiment or test the water with trying the same sex. I honestly don't mind or care about other people being gay. If that's their preference then so be it. Gay people are humans too and should be treated equally no matter who they chose to date, love, like, or want to marry.

Steelerssssssss

Pittsburgh Steelers! It is the best team in NFL history, well in my opinion. Lol That’s my favorite team of all time. It started with my grandpa then it moved its way to my father that loved the team. Eventually the love of the game grew on me as a youngster. I may be girl but I absolutely love football. The weather, the fans, and the overall spirit of being at a football game is the best. I have yet to attend a game, but I will one day and I hope it is very soon! Most of everyone is a Steelers fan in my family. Go hard or go home. Black and yellow, black and yellow, plays in my head by the rapper Wiz Khalifa every time I think of my team. I honestly think that every team in the NFL sucks, but the Steelers. My favorite player on the team is Troy Polamalu. When I see him my heart melt instantly. His long locks of hair are so beautiful. His hair makes him and his speed and agility. The Steelers has 6 championship rings. They have the most rings in the Nation Football League and they can’t be stopped.

I don't care !

Being nonchalant about things comes in handy a lot. The more things you care about the more you are stressed about. Of course I care about my family and school work, but some people stress about things that don’t matter.  Stressing over friends or irrelevant things doesn’t help anyone succeed in life. While you’re getting all worked up those things haven’t changed. If you can’t change it why stress over it. My mother has always told me to live by the serenity prayer. It helps me get through my day. The serenity prayer says “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”  I believe if everyone lives by this then life would so much easier. A lot people worry about things they don’t need to worry about and that doesn’t concern them. If you stay in your own lane and do your own thing then things would so much smoother. There is nothing wrong with lending a helping hand, but getting too involved in someone else’s business could get you in a situation that shouldn’t have been started from the beginning.
